17x9 +25 fit stock body?

I want to get some rota p45-r's. would 17x9 +25 fit stock fenders? how about with 20mm wide fenders? eventually going wide but am hoping to get something I can fit stock body with a stretch until I get the wide fenders. thanks, I'm set on these wheels and in 17's. I'll never afford nizmo lm4gt's.

I just don't get offsets. they change with the width of the rim and I don't get how to understand where exactly the wheel would sit in relation to the hub.

My 17x8 +20 (I think, might be +28) OEM Mustang wheels sit flush with a stock front fender at 0-degrees camber. I had to roll/pull them to fit the 235/45 BFGs without murdering the fender lip. Still rubs while cornering hard.

Out back they sit a little over 15mm inside the stock fender, with a spacer to bring them back out it would he on-point. I've got 225/50 Bridgestones in the rear, and everything besides the fender lip clears by at least an inch.

All that being said, they'll fit in the rear with a 225 or narrower tire near perfectly. Up front is going to be a stretch, but can be done with aggressive pulling/rolling and lots of camber. Your best bet for that size all around would be the +20mm wide fenders.

yes it will fit
17x9 +25 205/45
17x10 +20 225/45
you will need atleast a 2mm spacer up front to clear the springs

nice, thanks guys. I'm just going to use spacers when I go wide. ^you're fitment is what I'm planning on doing basically and looks better then I thought it would. my car looks stupid with stock wheels (5 spoke sawblades) on my pbm coils. I'm just sick of it and want better offset/fitment. lol. I might hammer down the lip for more clearance, maybe do a pull in front. I'm not completely dumped though so I'll see what it looks like when I mount them and figure out what stretch to go with on tires.

If you are using adjustable coil-over suspension then Yep, they'll fit EASILY- I used to have 17X9 +17 on my stock bodied Japanese spec FC3S with Tein coil-over suspension and they fitted nicely, the rubbed the front fenders a bit on lock but with a +25 I'm pretty sure you'd be fine.. just make sure you run the right tyres... maybe stretch a little.

well I know my parts shop max springs are a hell of a lot smaller around then the stock ones. I was just going to see if they hit and run spacer until they don't. I just don't want my wheels sticking out like a foot, or sunken in the wheel wells like now. I WILL NOT run retarded amounts of stretch. it looks dumb and I feel its unsafe. iani's stretch is probably near where I'd draw the line. maybe I'd go a little farther if I absolutley had too but only for fitment and the wide fenders would be here post haste. lol

I run 17X9 +24 wheels all around with no problems 255/40/17 up front with camber and coilovers.

I tried some 17x9 +35 and they hit my coilovers. +25 should be fine.

well, I'll have to put wheels on hold I'm thinking. my motor with 150k miles has started using more oil this past week and is flooding on startup way more often then it should. might be rebuild time. spare t2 motor may be just the thing to start rebuilding over the winter. I drive 7-800 miles a week for work since my daily is down and still beat this thing so I guess I was asking for it. lol. no point in wheels if it quits on me I suppose. grrrrr. I'm so glad I rent and actually get a tax refund next year to help this car out.

It really seems like every time I want to buy something, I have to replace or fix something that breaks on this car. its happened almost every time so far and I have a very low budget for this thing. a quart of oil every 500 miles of normal daily driving bad? castrol 20w50 conventional all the time. seems like oil control rings going.

Yes those are it.

In my sig the car had 235/40 up front and 245/45 in the rear.

I have 255/40 and 275/40 now.
