Angry 17x10 +12 up front fc?????

first off id like to say i cant do all this testing myself cuz im in afghanistan fighing "the war on terror"

so i got a few questions to ask.currently i have two 17x9+15 and four 17x10+12 rims sitting at home.i wanted to run the 17x10 on all four corners.but my friends telling me itll **** it up?any truth behind this?cuz ive seen tons of you running the same size,or wider with lower offsett? what am i looking at for problems compared to running the 17x9+15 in the front?

and for mods(on the front end) PBM coils
and mabye a knuckle mod in the future(PBM or just cut and weld)

and i plan to probably dump as low as i can go on the PBM coils(just for anyone asking)

any input would be awesome, and yes i searched, but the internet in a 3rd world country is worse than 56k!!

someone help me out so when i can get home,i can throw this **** together

I'm running 17x9.5 +15 up front atm and it's rubbing on my coils if they aren't turned to allow the rim to clear. I did have credit card spacing from the inner lip to the spring. It sucks. I have to mark my springs and perches with a sharpie. Lucky me, i've got some extended studs and 5mm slips on the way to fix this issue i'm having. So i imagine you'd be right there AT the spring, possibly shoving the rim between coils and at the very least would have to run a 5mm slip on as well. I'd throw a 7mm on just to be safe.

DK was running 17x10 fn's up front at one point but with a large spacer and 25mm over fenders iirc.

You will be fine running 17x9 +15 up front, no spacer required. PLENTY of room.

50 mil or something massive like that.

His control arms had deep *** cuts in them from the wheels hitting too!

when you call PSM to order your coils or knuckles, as to speak to martin, he runs 17x10 +12 up front with metal fenders and has knuckles, dunno what size spacer he is using but you can ask him.

Someone pm'd me about fitment something or other. They've got the same offset and width as i do on pbm coils and he's got about 11mm more clearance than i do. My guess is, pbm coils space the knuckle away from the shock body more than my jic's do.

So anyone reading this, just a heads up. Not all front lower mounts are created equal. What works for some coilovers wont work for others.

Happy fitments!
