Hi. I have an '84 GSL-SE. I was going over the car one day when I noticed that over the years some bugs had crawled into the tail light and died between the lens and the outer cover. When I pulled the lens, I saw that the cover is snap fit over the lens using plastic clips which I am reluctant to monkey around with in case I break them and then have to replace a 28 year old part. Any suggestions? I'd be grateful for any ideas that people could provide. Thanks. -Brian

 

you can use clear silicone sealant to seal any areas that might get broken mounting points,also good for sealing off those gaps where they might have entered
