Suggestions on restoring rear hatch striker emblem?

Like nearly every one I've ever seen, my "RX-7" labeled rear hatch striker assembly is faded and you can no longer see the "RX-7".

I'd like to restore it to legibility, but not sure of best way to do it.

I've thought about creating a stencil, but not sure I can do the job justice and afraid it will turn out even worse than nothing at all.

Has anyone had success restoring the hatch striker assembly "RX-7" label...?

Call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda in VA. He can get just about anything OEM and his prices are by far the best.

Saw this on another thread:

New, engraved chrome rear hatch emblems:

My plan is to go for an all-chrome version, then probably use Dip-It to black out all but the lettering (leaving it in chrome).

The Dip-It is easily removed if I get tired of it....
