DIY ceramic coat?

hey guys, I’m interested in the whole ceramic coating idea but I’m not too interested in paying $1000+ for it, my question is, has anyone ever used a DIY ceramic coat or similar coat that they really liked and was easy to apply? I understand that a correct and top notch ceramic coat requires a big paint correction first and depending on what the product is, a few coats of the coating. But just curious to see what’s out there that will hold me off until I save enough for a real paint job + real ceramic coating down the road, thanks!
