Cleaning the exterior of the 7

Well, I started my first huge project on the car, and that was cleaning it. I started by power washing the entire car. After that, I washed the car with my Mr. Clean Auto Dry thing and did the rims and wheel wells with a seperate wash mit. After that, I power washed the car and underbody and spot free rinsed it.

Now comes the fun part. I bought a clay bar system and the Meguire's 3 step wax system to use on the in the next couple days. I've got an orbital, but I'd rather hand wax the car since it seems to come out nicer that way.

I also have some spray on glass cleaner, Mother's Back to Black for the trim pieces, Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish for the rims and exhaust tips, Meguire's Tire spray, and some Armor All for the wheel wells. I found that rubbing headlights and taillights with the mag and aluminum polish then rubbing them with the tire shine makes them really glossy. Is there any other products you guys suggest using or methods to getting things all clean any shiny? Thanks.

A simple engine bay cleaner spray or even tire shine can be used.

I have a separate cleaner bottle of plastic shine though.

Mother's Back to Black is good for trying to bring life back into any sort of plastic. I was actually going to try it on the piece you're talking about when I get my car back.

It's wholesale stuff for the detail bay guys where i work. Don't believe you can buy it in the stores. It gets dropped off by some huge truck.

Works really well though.
