Question Anyone ever use DIY ceramic header coating??

I just bought a used racing beat header (pictured below) for my 85 gsl and I'm going to want to make it pretty before I put it on. It's in pretty good shape, but is mild steel so my plan is to blast it and/or naval jelly to get the surface rust off, then cover it with something that will stick for a while. Came across this link:

Anyone ever use it or a product like it?? I am pretty open to other options if anyone has come across a finish that will stand up well to our high temp. exhausts....

Here's the header I bought, just a bit of surface rust:

iv used something like it before, you have to get that completly clean send it to a sand blaster, then wipe it with gloves on so your finger oils dont mess with it, you dont want any kinda oil under the coating. 2nd its best to have it oven cured even if they stait they could air cure in a week. with it being a longtube header it would problably flake off on the cat side where its not going to reach the correct curing temps.
if you have a powder coater in your erea ask them to cure it for you might only cost $20 for there oven use.

other then that good luck and let us know how it goes if you use it

I used the VHT flame proof paint on my Racing Beat header and on a fireplace grate I built and both are holding up fine. Just make sure you scuff up the surface first.
