I bet if i called and said i was the Grand Dragon of the KKK and that we are in search of an event location i would get the VIP treatment????

Well, I don't remember if I updated this thread or not.. but NVNC has finally got back to me. They now have a NEW general manager and he was very informative and professional.
They are going to give us similar deal as last year. If you book friday and saturday, they will throw in either thursday or sunday for FREE.
They are also going to give 20% discount til Mid Dec. and 5% lower each month til April. But just remember, 100% of the lodge and cabin across were booked last year. So, book early!
The restaurant will provide breakfast for $7.50 if you book early and 10% for dinner.
Next year, I'm going to plan differently and NOT provide lunch on saturday. Also, I've reserved the parking lot top of the dam for saturday car show and such. We'll have our show/meet from 8:30AM to 12PM. We'll try to sell some sandwiches or something at the top of the dam. If weather seems bad, then we'll have our gathering at NVNC.
We are still having after dinner banquet/award ceremony like this year at NVNC. Probably start around 9PM and hang out til 11-12PM.
I'll start the registration this Friday!

Deals Gap Rotary Rally--- Thank you for the Update and Great Job on getting the package deal for 2010 event year.
People will never truly know the Pain involved in the logistical aspect of getting an event organized until they themselves get their legs knee deep in all the B.S. involved with it.

Phil, what are the dates? I'm in Orlando tomorrow to visit my car and I'll let Jesus Padilla from Kilo Racing know. He wants to come this year and organize a caravan on up from FL. Never hurts to have your mechanic follow you up so you have someone to blame if something goes wrong!

I cannot wait for this event to happen! I can honestly say that last year's event was the absolute high point for me since buying my FD back in 1998. Amazing weather, great people, wonderful roads, lots of flame-spitting rotaries, what more can you ask for

Sorry about the delay.. I'm having some issues with login into my DGRR site.. Once I get on and such, i'll open the registration. Hopefully tonight it will be open.
Paid List will go by first come first.
I'll try to add maybe DGRRX decal for the first 50 registered.

I would love to attend, as Michael had such great stories from DGRR last year, but the family and I will be in Japan by then.
Keep your options open for the trip to Japan that we talked about. I am going to be there anyway and I know Michael and Gene still want to make it out to see me. I am just hoping that the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon will still be in existence by then...

DGRR is one of the most emotional and thrilling Combination of Mother nature and motorsport mixed up in one Fantastic Event that can be had.
"Definitely one of the best Rotary event on the East Coast to attend"
: I am in and I am already excited about it. Now just planning on where I am sleeping. Already talking to a few about caravaning with a NE crew, it would be fun to be rollin down with a crew.

Well wont make it out again(3rd year ive wanted but couldnt). Had a misshap(its not that bad) down some back roads and did a little more damage(already needed work) so it will be getting repainted and crap and doubt it will be done in time dueto funds
