I'm currently deciding between April 9-11th or April 16th-18th..

It also pending what's available and which groups are going to be in the area.. I'm waiting for Fontana and NVNC to call me back.. been waiting for over a week now and called them on last thursday.

On side note... Are you in Ashville now? Me and my wife are planning to go visit there within next month or two..

 

If I can get someone to ride up with me from Gainesville or somewhere along that route I will probably go.

That's great Phil, either dates work for me so I am stoked. As soon as you know, I'll start putting together a FL caravan.

Not in Asheville yet The house is mostly done on the outside but still needs the interior finishes. Gave the contractor an ultimatum of a Jan 7th move in date but that never seems to work.

Should be able to make this happen. Last year, I went up 95 with a group from Daytona. I think this year Jesus Padilla from Kilo Racing wants to get a caravan going from Orlando to Daytona and up thru Jax so I don't see why you couldn't hook up with this.

I got bit by the job layoffs from a "cant get laid off" position... as did all the others on my team. O.o

Now working at a smaller company, and loving it. Not making as good income.. but after 4 months "vacation" happily working.

Will be bringing at least one RX-7. The race car again... will try to get her cleaned up and painted before the next event. I also will try to bring one of the other 7s as well. My oldest Son may actually drive it or the race car up, while I drive the Dually with something trailered on it. O.O

Either way.. If I have to take a grayhound... I will be there.

Quick DGRRX Update:

I finally got an email from NVNC.. the "NEW" manager is suppose to call me later today.. I'm telling ya, they change management once a year... at least

I'm still waiting to hear back from Fontana.. But if all works out with the conversation with NVNC, it will be yet again, at NVNC...

 

NO Call from NVNC... so no date has been set..

 

Im in again, and of course willing to sponsor.

Oh boy, I feel giddy like a schoolgirl

 

I spent around 350 in a cabin split between 3. then looking at gas and food. prob anywhere from 400-600. depending in what rooms you stay and how much food you eat. lol

 

Shar, are you and Nader going to organize the caravan that starts in North Cali???

 

Most likely it'll be just me Nader and his friend with the Veilside FD. Need to call him and see if its still gonna happen. Either way I'm down to drive there. Hopefully I won't be alone this time though. I got a buddy of mine from Guam thats willing to fly to San Francisco and then drive up with me to N.C.
