I know, Turbo II. I'm just giving you a hard time. Thanks for the directions and concern on if I made it home alright. I did. Everyone was great and so nice to meet everyone. I'll try to get my vid up soon.

I think it was a good speed. I had only done one run on it prior to that, and although I was traveling faster, I was not being safe, and my back end saw its way across the center line on many corners. (this was when it was still soaked) It kinda scared me, and I was nervous pulling out with the "convoy" that I would push my car too hard, but as we began to travel I realized it was a much safer speed, yet not too slow. I noticed the roads began to clear up while I was getting my second run, and before we left back (in our split up groups) I was much more confident in pushing my car. It turned out to be dry enough to push my car at least 50% harder without worrying about my front/rear end losing traction. I think it was a very good pace for the people that were new to the gap, but it is very possible that you guys are more confident in your car in the wet than I am

Phil, we took a vid yesterday of me chasing one of our RX-8 members through there running pretty damn hard. The play by play audio of me and Rebecca who was holding the camera is funny as hell. We did a handheld run so we could get a more realistic feel and view of him as I chased him. She did a hell of a job being tossed around the way she was!!! We'll get it put up somewhere asap.
Yeah I'm real pleased with those tires. Grip is fantastic wet or dry and this was the weekend for it!

The next car had never driven the dragon and her car was not up to the "slow" speed we were going up front and I deemed it not safe. Next time you're more than welcome to try and chase me if you like. I spent the rest of the afternoon into the evening either tailgating people at 70mph or getting crotch rockets to pull over so I could go even faster.

Hmm, I couldn't find either of those in 195/60/14, however originally I was planning on buying these. A Datsun friend of mine told me he liked them a lot. What do you guys think?
