Runs and drives great still. Older asian gentleman with bad eyesight stopped about 5 cars early for a light. I was changing radio stations (which seems quite idiotic now) and looked up to see him stopped. I locked up the brakes a few times and dove left to avoid him. He said he heard me coming, so he went left to try and get out of the way and I went under him at about 10mph with the right front in the turn lane... We started in the left straight lane... More bad news is I only have liability... Good news is one of my jobs is a body shop apprentice.

sux...I did the same as you one time.. was changing radio stations and rear ended car in front that stopped suddenly. doesn't look "too" bad though..hopefully you are up and running in no time.

evot23 - I think it'll be down for a couple months... gonna do it in spare time at the body shop. also probably gonna go ahead and get the wheels/suspension I want and modify the fenders a smidge to make em fit...

rotarypolo - Hoping so, trying to figure out my plans and all right now. I hope I can still go, but im moving next month and I have to now fix the car... so we will see...

heres my hunk a junk.......arriving fri-sun.

in preparation i changed my plugs, belts, oil, tranny and diff fluid.....so it should be running strong!

except for the driver side door handle i just broke for the 3rd time....i have aluminum handles, so i guess this time something inside the door broke.

 

I wont be there but my car will

I'm so jealous of you guys right now. I feel like the kid that didn't get to go in the field trip and had to sit in the classroom all alone. I had to wake up early today to detail my baby just to have a sense of some type of event going on. I wish I could go but do to moving next Friday and a new baby I'm not going to be able to attend. Hope I get to move to this side of the country in 4 years when I retire out of the Navy and be able to make it to one of these. For the time being I guess Sevenstock will do . You guys be careful and I hope EVERY ONE has a good time safely.
