Runs and drives great still. Older asian gentleman with bad eyesight stopped about 5 cars early for a light. I was changing radio stations (which seems quite idiotic now) and looked up to see him stopped. I locked up the brakes a few times and dove left to avoid him. He said he heard me coming, so he went left to try and get out of the way and I went under him at about 10mph with the right front in the turn lane... We started in the left straight lane... More bad news is I only have liability... Good news is one of my jobs is a body shop apprentice.

evot23 - I think it'll be down for a couple months... gonna do it in spare time at the body shop. also probably gonna go ahead and get the wheels/suspension I want and modify the fenders a smidge to make em fit...
rotarypolo - Hoping so, trying to figure out my plans and all right now. I hope I can still go, but im moving next month and I have to now fix the car... so we will see...

heres my hunk a junk.......arriving fri-sun.
in preparation i changed my plugs, belts, oil, tranny and diff fluid.....so it should be running strong!
except for the driver side door handle i just broke for the 3rd time....i have aluminum handles, so i guess this time something inside the door broke.

I'm so jealous of you guys right now. I feel like the kid that didn't get to go in the field trip and had to sit in the classroom all alone. I had to wake up early today to detail my baby just to have a sense of some type of event going on. I wish I could go but do to moving next Friday and a new baby I'm not going to be able to attend. Hope I get to move to this side of the country in 4 years when I retire out of the Navy and be able to make it to one of these. For the time being I guess Sevenstock will do
