So I know me, Fero313, Fire85GSLSE, and jfaplanet are all going from here in the Nashvegas area. Anyone else plan to go and want to caravan? I think RoughRex said he is going too (I think he already booked a room).

I think I talked to Chad and he said Friday sometime, I'd like to get there somewhat early.

I'm definately in. The 'rex may not exactly be legal tho.....apears I have an issue with the way the title was transfered to me so I can't get it registered. I'll go in the MIDDLE of the caravan. hehe

We will sort this out probably within a week or so. If you are coming in from Indiana, why not meet up with us in Murfreesboro? It is between Nashville and Chatanooga and should be on your way. Let us know, or we'll let you know, or whatever!

I think several of us in Bham are wanting to head up to Deals kind of early.

I think we are leaving Bham around 8-9AM (CST), arrive in Chattanooga around 11-12PM (EST). Do lunch and leave Chattanooga around 1-2PM (EST).

Crap...I don't think my wife can get out of work early enough to make it to Chattanooga then...I was hoping to leave Nashville around 1ish. We shall see I guess.

 

Me and Paul plan on leaving mid morning from here. Some people from SC are staying with us and I ahave the hotel in my name and don't want them to have to wait to put up their stuff. I'm sure Greg will leave at about the same time.

haha....Got the wife to take a vacation day on the 7th so I can probably make it in the caravan with you guys but....dunno if the 7 will be going. It needs:

Brakes, bushings, drivetrain mounts, struts/springs, a new windshield, and it's still not registered b/c I'm having a problem with the title transfer......

I may just drive my wifes '01 Jetta. After all I am gonna be on a relatively dangerous road and I'm not sure taking my pregnant wife down it in an unfit car is such a great idea.

kk...The wife and I both got Friday off and the 7 is getting a lot of TLC in preparation (I even got it registered finally, YAY ). So what is the official time and meeting place for the caravan leaving M'Boro? I'm guessing we should head out at about 9:30 so, meet up at 9:00 somewhere?

 

Well it is quicker for us to run 8-40 to 40 over to Knoxville and down rather than down to chatanooga and then back up but guess to each his own.

I know Charles can not leave till 12:00 noon on the nose because his daughter is coming and he is pulling her out of school that day.

As for me, well I still not sure if I will be towing or driving. Diesel is very high and well less fun to pull the rex, but if I don't then the wife and daughter can't come.

I am still trying to figure which rotary to bring..... the gsl-se I will drive anywhere, the 91 TII well I would trailer that one over, and well the repu truck I would trailer that one too. Crap! This sucks! Guess tomorrow is the day to figure out which one I am bringing, how I am coming and with who?

I drove though M'Boro on 24 today and there is some road construction creating quite a backup on the eastbound side so if you are coming from Nashville like me and want to go in the caravan from M'boro....You might wanna leave early or maybe take Murfeesboro road....That is when someone picks a time and place to meet...

 

Well anyone want to link up with us Charles and I will be at his house in Symrna around 11:00am. We will be rolling out about 12:15-12:30 to drive over to Deals gap. We are going I-840 to I-40 East over to Knoxville, then back roads to deals gap.

Anyone leaving the M'boro / Syrmna / Nasville area around 12:00 noon and want to caravan let me know.

For those wanting to leav Fri. morning and meet up with the Alabama caravan:

We will be meeting at the I-24 and church street. It is the next exit after 96/old fort going SE. Take the 81A exit AWAY from Murfreesboro and pull into the Golden Gallon. It is diagonal to the Toyota dealership.

We are planning to LEAVE at 9:00 to make it in time to meet Phill and the Alabama guys. I will be getting there around 8:30 and so will DJ. My number is 615-294-4911 if you have any questions.
