Hahaha....Stina, I see I wasn't the only one bottoming out my lowly stock suspension. Ouch, I just paid $40 for 7 pics! Next time we need our own camera man!

Yeah Lindsay looks like she's got hydraulics. LOL

I'll have the new suspension by the end of the summer. My tires only rubbed in the back when I was taking the sharpest turns. It wasn't TOO horrible... but yeah... I had ALOT of body roll!! Who knew an FC would feel like a minivan in the mountains??

 

OH my! Thats my engine builders friend. He was suppose to come out for this event and I think he couldn't get hold of me b/c of the lack of cell phone service. I forgot to give him the fontana info.

I've met him couple of times but never actually seen the REPU. By my understanding, its all original even the paint.

We (the last bit of the Raleigh group) saw him Sunday when we were at the top of the Dragon... just before coming out to the skyway to see you guys... and we were like, "It's another one! I don't remember them yesterday."

He didn't stop, though... so I dunno.

I talked with the guy on sunday at the gap gas station around noonish. Unfortunatly I was on the way home and didn't know where anyone else was . I thought he might hook up with some of you guys who were still running the gap but I suppose not. The REPU was sweet. Everything original except the engine's a rebuild. He was a really nice guy. I hope to see him and the REPU next year .

edit: I also ran into a rogue rx8er looking for the rest of the group. Saw him at the bottom of the dam sunday close to 2. Anyone else run into him? TI grey with the x-men wing and what looked to be racing beat's exhaust (psfft on me for not asking).
