I have a digital 8 camera I can bring but im pretty sure its 4:3. Ill check. Either way its still digital to rip straight to the computer and then author DVD's with it. I have DVD Studio Pro and Final Cut so its no problem for me to cut paste and mix.

I've got a miniDV you could borrow for a bit. It's got a wide shooting mode but since i've never used that function (just found it after reading this thread 
) i'm not sure if it's true 16:9 or just squished 4:3 haha.

i've got one you can use, phil. not sure about the widescreen, but there are quite a few functions that i've yet to use. battery life could be a problem with mine though.
