Phil,
Count me in for the Volunteer shirt. Also, remember to check on those plastic pieces for me so I can just shoot you one lump payment.

I guess I'll be leading THE slowest group. For those who "followed" me last year... I have every intention of running the dragon as much as possible before that Saturday. Not to mention I will have the new suspension installed, so that will help my body-rolling issues. It was like driving a MINIVAN on the dragon last year!!

Driving 1987 N/A... Not sure what color... probably flat black by the time DGRR rolls around.

I'm in for a GL shirt too. Forgot to add that.

Oh yeah, and perkystina, you might not be the only one in flat black, I haven't decided yet.

GL shirts would be nice. Something else that would be handy would some way of keeping up with those in your group. Last year, when we got to the first turnaround, it was so crowded and people spread out so much since there was no way the group could all park together, that when it was time to go, there was no way to get everyone back together. It is bound to be even worse this year. If enough cars make it to this year’s event, we probably need to look at planning it out so that the first group is already leaving before the last groups start, so that we don’t try squeezing even more cars into the lot, all at the same time.

I might be a little different... I've got a few things up my sleeve. I AM PerkyStina, after all!!

Plus, we might be having too many problems with the coolant system in the FC, so things might change some and we'll get the FB ready instead.

I like the GL shirt idea. Maybe a different color? If not, then we can just use car chalk on our back windows.

I will get there early enough to "direct traffic." Someone get me a bullhorn (or whatever the loud speaker thingy is) and we can be more organized this year. Phil and John are gonna be running around like crazies and won't have time to think about where ppl should be parking. Lemme brain storm on this one, and I'll see what I come up with, so people can be organized.

We, my family (1 RX8, 2 FC's mine and my sister's), are leaving from the west side of indy, Ben Davis area, we're gonna head down to cincinnati where I'm gonna pick up my fraternity brother, and then head down. You're welcome to join us, let me know. The more rotaries, the........Brap-ier. Haha.

PM me and maybe we can work out a meet-up spot.

Need anymore group leaders? I have 2 DEs under my belt, 2 regular track days and tons of auto-X trophies. I haven't driven't Deal's Gap, but I make a couple trips a year to the mountains in North GA.

Regarding GL shirts.. well, I'm still waiting to get demo shirts from the printers. Once I get them I'll have them print some Blk shirts, Red Dragon, White letterings... I'm going to have it in Long Sleeve and will try to get it to you guys for $5. Hope thats reasonable for you all??

I also need one of you to step up and become a group leader chief. Anyone wants to volunteer?

I would volunteer for GL chief, but I think that position should go to someone who has more experience on the Dragon.

If no one else is interested, then I'll do it.

I was thinking the same thing...that we need a GL manager. I will be glad to take that on if you want me to. Just let me know. I'll start looking for my bullhorn. We need one or more, regardless.

I also agree that GL chief needs major experience..

Why don't we say we make this decission at the Fontana on Friday Night... We'll have a 30 min. quick meeting and we'll go over few things... and get your suggestion then.

We'll also decide who will to be the GL chief and let them speak and we'll vote during our meeting. Once they are chosen, He/She will be be in charge and update me with the ideas of the runs at the Gap.

Sounds like a plan to me, what time are we thinking for this meeting or is it going to be set down a little further down the road?

Yeah that works Phil, I would consider doing it but since im gonna be taking alot of photos and such and working with you on everything else its just something that I shouldnt take on. So just being a GL is cool with me.
