Lets try and get some cars together in Irmo, and leave sometime Fri. If we plan things wright we may be able to met with RRDI before they leave.

Update (although I haven't spoken to Jon yet...):

The caravan may be postponed until 12-12:30. One of our riders in Columbia has a class that he cannot afford to miss. I will keep everyone updated.

better for me, have to leave at 7am to make it on time for 10, day after my birthday, so will give me alittle more time to sleep off my hangover!

 

Perfect! That allows me to (hopefully) get my car aligned Friday morning before we head out!!

I need to go buy a larger battery and some tapes for the camcorder. It's going to be awesome getting footage of my car as well as some of Jon, since this is his first sports car and (I believe) first event like this!

Oh, in case you didn't pick up on it, my car runs!!!! Fired up tonight and I drive her for about 15 miles. Tomorrow I plan on getting the interior back in order (carpet, wiring, carputer) and driving and tuning some on Thursday. I'm SO happy right now!!!

P.S will your 10AE connect to my camcorder, It's one of the new digital one. (of corse it is)

ummm...the 10AE is my car, you idiot! LOL. Geez, you send them to school, dress them nice, and THIS is what you get.

As long as your camcorder has a screw-type mount on the bottom, you'll be fine. BTW, this mount is designed for lightweight (about 1 lb) cameras.
