Not too sure what I'll be in. If I can't find a passenger I'll be riding with someone. If I can find a passenger I'll have to choose beween Rx-4 or '88 TII.

i take it u don't like driving alone? yes it's a long drive, maybe get with some others that's going and do a caravan. and maybe someone that's going but don't have a rotary and u'll get to bring both. but i agree, bring the 4. 'ol skool FTW.

 

I don't mind making the drive by myself and I usually caravan down with the group from Ontario. The problem is the cost. A 3000 mile round trip in a car that gets a little over 20mpg hits the wallet hard. If I bring the Rx-4 it will be lowered with 15" Riken mesh wheels and disc brakes all around this year. The car was okay last year on the dragon, but that will make it FAR better!

 

I was going to be there in my 1984 GS....


..but now it looks like I will be in my 2006 RX-8!!

 

Would a 300zx with a 2jz swap be welcome? Completely custom, all work was done at home by the owner, and it's stroked to a 3.4 liter. I just don't want to tell him to cruize down with me if everyone's going to give him crap the whole time.

 

I would say everyone was welcome! We had a porsche, integra, and eclipse last year. They would just have to not park in the lot when the RX7 car show is going on.

 

The one exception would be if he is an asshat with no brake lights.

I'll be bringing up my 04 8. I've done a few mods since the last time i went up there and have a couple more planned before DGRR. Hopefully my friend can make it in his vr fd. Is anyone planning on a caravan from the columbia, sc area?

when u all going. me and a buddy will be making a long vacation out of it, going up on the 18th. if interested i've started a thread bout sharing a cabin. it's already been secured and seems one couple has backed out since they're not going up til friday.

 

I would like to leave on the 18th as well. i'll let you know when i know for sure.
