I am on the fence on going to the event. I would probably be going alone as well. My wife does not like to ride in my rx7. She does not like spirited or aggressive driving. This changed from when we met and I was driving a twin turbo G35. I still miss that raw power of the twins. I guess the single turbo just doesn't have the torque. The 7 is getting there though. I am a laid back and 43. I have been to that GAP quite a few times as I used to ride sports bikes and these roads were meant to be ridden with motorcycles. I am sure the car will love them as well. Just won't have that open feeling with nothing between you and the road. Anyways wanted to see if anyone has an extra bed and wants a roommate to share costs. I am looking forward to going to the events and looking at cars and meeting folks. Maybe not the stuck on themselves type though.

Days i will likely be there are Apr 26-29. So checking out Sunday morning and on my back.

To Funny LMAO!!

I made a trip to Deals Gap one time and I had gotten a roommate as well. The guy I roomed with wrecked his motorcycle by running off an embankment and bike was stuck upside down about 100 ft. The guy was ok as he jumped from his bike before it went down the hill. This all happened on the first day. Needless to stay I did not have a roommate that time. I usually had motorcycle friends I went with or my brother went with me once. The place is humbling usually the first time when you have never really ridden switchbacks likes these curves. I always liked to stay at Fontana, Village. I did stay at Tuskegee Inn one time and it was small but clean.
