DGRR / Rotary track day at Road Atlanta.. Who's interested?
Looking to see who's interested in Either wednesday before DGRR or Sunday after DGRR...
Post here if you are interested in doing a track day.
This should be a perfect time for many who will attend DGRR from all over the country to hang out and do some driving... If enough interest, I'll check in to this to set this up.
This will be all rotary event and pending space left or to fill, we might have to bring in other vehicles...

The Sunday after would probably be better, the way I see it, if your car makes it through a couple days on the Dragon hopefully it can make it through a track day at your own pace. I think if it was the day before we'd have several vacant parking spots at the DGRR. Sounds like a great idea though!

I guess you can see it couple of ways.. Either breaking down couple of days before and try to get it fixed over DGRR (with help of maybe some rotary guys) and make it back home or break after DGRR and fix it yourself Also my guess is it will be cheaper.
By the way, there will be no 'FD Testing" and such at my event.. Just an all rotary car event/ track day.

Let me be clear here..
Anyone else besides me, who's trying to organize a track day, piggy backing DGRR is not PART OF DGRR..
I want to be clear as I was told by few that 'someone' is trying to take advantage of people from all over USA coming to DGRR to organize their own track day for some 'testing'. I want to be clear, DGRR, those organizing the event, and ME the founder of DGRR will not take part of their event.

I would definitely be there. I wouldn't be able to run due to lack of experience But It would put the cars in their natural environment and I would be very interested in the parade lap . And lets be honest it would put us all in the mood to go drive those amazing roads just north

Great to hear about the interest and as of now, I still haven't heard back from Road ATL. I will give them a call again tomorrow.
Once things are set, things need to move quite quickly. Since I do not have much time to organize this, a good friend of mine will be helping me out (Leo).

Hey Phil, If you can't get road Atlanta or if its cost prohibitive, check with Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville. Its about an hour from RA and is a great track.
