Talking CorkSport FMIC Kit Group Buy thread!

Alright guys, you asked and I'll deliver. Here's the official CorkSport FMIC Group Buy thead.

http://corksport.com/store/item/1vvr...ooler_Kit.html

Retail on the kit is $799, the pricing structure is as follows:

5+ people = $50 off
10+ people = $75 off
15+ people = $100 off

Let's see if we can move some of these. I'm going to keep this open for 3 weeks from today, so that means the last day you can get in on this is Monday, October 22nd.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Who's interested?!

Boo school and lack of funds . I might not be in the market for a FMIC for a while, but I'm curious, the website said there's no need to trim the bummer, but will I still be able to keep my factory fog lights?

The BOV flange is $35 + price of the flange.

We have installed the kit on a few different cars and have been unable to replicate any of the issues he was having. We've designed it so that it's sort of in a middle-ground between too tight of a fit and too loose.

It's designed to hook up to the stock turbo but the core itself is good for 300+hp. modifying it to work with an aftermarket turbo all you'd have to do is make a new pipe that goes from the turbo outlet to the FMIC pipe.

you should definately be able to keep your fog lights, and the actual bumper doesnt need to be trimmed, although the bumper support and a few random plastic pieces that help support the center of the bumper cover dont fit with this kit in place. Other then that, its a great kit, is well put together, effective at keeping the intake charge cool (although I dont have the means to measure pressure drop across it), and good looking.

If you dont mind losing your AC and bumper support, i'd recommend it

Thanks for the input! I read your thread (even though I didn't respond) and I've tried a couple kits out on local cars and couldn't replicate the problems you were having, so it's probably a car-to-car thing. I'll keep working at it though, rest assured, I want the best quality product possible.

Alright guys, sorry I took so long to get back to you on this. We're rating the core that it comes with for up to 400hp, if you would like to go for a thicker core, which is good for more HP then it is $25 extra.

Also, due to the forum being down for a bit and a couple other factors we've decided to extend this group buy until the end of the month. Plus, if I can get 5 guys on board I'll throw in free shipping as well. Deal?

Yes, the other core still fits the same, and it's a sizable improvement in cooling area. It'll do 450 no problem.

So the list as I can see it is:

1. Drift Kid
2. someassemblyrequired
3. jdm12a

We need two more people, and we're running out of time. I see a couple people sorta interested in here. Tell your friends!
