Why did it not get accepted? Thread was put up about 24 hours ago.

You have no idea of what you're asking, so I'm simply going to repost the 4th sticky of 7 "READ THIS FIRST" sticky's from the 1stgen parts section that gets right to the point. It was posted on November 6th, 2008. I added the color for emphasis.
The reason it is taking so long to moderate the classifieds is because they are not being submitted according to the rules.
This is not rocket science and taking a few moments to review the rules will ensure that your thread will be moderated in a more timely manner.
We have done every thing we can as moderators. We take the time to send you a pm when the thread has not been in compliance. Most of the time we even copy and paste the content of the thread so that you don't have to retype it. We have put notes in many members threads in the edit portion many times over as to why it was edited.
NEWS FLASH!
WE CANNOT KEEP DOING WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! THAT IS READING AND FOLLOWING THE RULES THAT ARE PLASTERED EVERYWHERE.
We would like to spend our time on other things such as archiving tech threads, helping others with their tech problems, etc......
So 30 days from the posting of this announcement, if your classified thread is not in compliance then it will be deleted. We will not contact you if it is not in compliance!
That means all classified threads must be titled as to what they are.
Example.
FS=For sale
FT=For trade only
FS/FT= For sale or for trade.
WTB= Want to buy
You can use variations of those but it easier just to use short abbreviations. :-)
Also the location icon is to be used. If we do not yet have a location icon yet for your location then please put the location in the thread title.
Below is the list of available icons at this time.
AK
AL AR AZ CA CO CT DE
FL GA HI IA ID IL IN
KS KY LA MA MD ME MI
MN MO MS MT NC ND NE
NH NJ NM NV NY OH OK

Remember we as moderators are also members that would like to spend some quality time in areas that we enjoy also.
As it turns out, PM's are sent to ad violators who took the time to use the Location Icon button or put the location in the thread of their title. If the location is nowhere to be seen from the Moderated Threads content page, it is simply deleted, no PM sent. If the OP can't even get as basic a piece of information as that on the ad after reading 7 Sticky's on the index page, then it's almost Karma that no one makes the effort to inform them of their error. If other Moderators are deleting classifieds that have Loc Icons used but no prices listed, for example, and not PM'ing in those circumstances....well, they shouldn't be doing that. As many ads as we see, we have to give serious consideration as to what shall consume our time and effort. If no effort is seen on the part of the person posting an ad...IOW, they DIDN'T even bother to read the sticky's and it shows in the ad...no effort should be wasted on that person to "educate" them. It's all there in writing and has been for a while.
