Wanted: An admin that actually answers emails

I think it's ridiculous that no one ever answers emails.

I want to run a banner ad, but no one will answer my emails. Every time I've run a banner ad in the past, I've had to chase someone down and hound them (Ryan) so I could give them my money. Sorry, *I* shouldn't have to work so I can spend *my* money.

I will take that money and spend it on a site that appreciates my business.

Regards,
Mike Montalvo

I once decided to run a banner myself. I paid for one or 2 months up front, I forget exactly. It took a while for the banner to get put up, so I didnt know exactly when that time period actually started.

Anyway, I figured at the end of the paid time, I'd get a bill or a request for more money, or whatever, since that seems to be the entire point. Well, I never got any such request, and eventually the banner was removed. Oh well.

I also have a personal friend/business owner who paid up front for a long period of banners to be run, and it took several MONTHS for them to actually be posted. He had to threaten with chargeback to get the banners put up in the first place. There are 2 sides to every story, but this guy has no reason to lie, and given the history of the administration of this forum, there's no reason to doubt it.

I know the guy is busy and all, and probably has a shitload of stuff to do during a regular week. But you can't complain about lack of funding with presence and response like this. Just like with the (apparently) now-defunct RXTuner magazine venture.

I made a post in the Moderators section. Will attempt to get an admin to address your concerns.

Thanks for the heads up.

Google Adwords works well also. I have a few clients that are using that as well as Overture on Yahoo.
