Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Created to move the Politics out of the lounge and allows all member access (as opposed to the DoO which is limited access).
The Mod and admin staff are considering a new Adult section as well to try and serve our members better.

Happened today.
Politics section is solution put in place to provide for a place for normal users to converse about current political or sociological discussions.
In my mind I kind of consider it a minor league for the DoO for masses.
Recently many of the normal conversations that would be going on in the DoO have begun to spill over into the wacky world known as the Lounge.
DoO is still more hands on bickering, and remains a forum for the privileged few while the Politics section will provide a place for those who aren't DoO privileged.
That's pretty much it.
PS for the DoO guys... no double dipping (posting the same thread subjects in both sections)

Details have not been finalized...
However at this point there will be no "X-Rated" content.... but maybe some "R-Rated" stuff instead. Basically a "relaxed" version of what we currently allow but nothing graphic is the general idea.
