Motec section?

Why no Motec section in the EMS area? Motec is now making a ROTARY SPECIFIC ecu thats priced in line with the E6X (the M2R).

Just my .02

If you can find a few dozen other users who want a Motec section as well, get them to post here and I will bring the issue to the other Admins attention.

Thanks,
DKJ

all motec users are on the different Improved touring forums already.... but I think we should have a section for all EMS systems that are commonly used among gay rotaries.

Most everyone Using Motec on an Rx7 is doing it to meet the letter of the rules in some race class.... Its an overpriced underpowered EMS.... But yAAAAY for class rules that dictate that you have to get this type of whatever to be competitive

When it is added to the EMS forums, the existing EMS mods will also cover it.

Rx7gozoomzoomboom, what class dictates running a motec?? Also, the MX00 are definitely not underpowered EMS's.

Price does not include harness. There aren't any DT or DTM plugs included in any of the unterminated harnesses. You would need a crimper if you bought a sport dash which only comes with a terminated harness and DTM plugs, however we are working on a solution for this currently.

But just personal opinion, the price of the crimper alone is almost worth it, these terminal connections are amazing to work with.

So far it looks like you've got 7 votes for 2 against. Still not even a dozen guys out there interested... C'mon put some effort into it!

Wow, its been a while since I have seen this thread!.

Uhh, I would moderate it, but I don't really have any working knowledge of the system. After doing more research, I opted to stay with Haltech. Not saying the MOTEC is a bad system, but the cost/benefit doesn't work for me.
