Would be a nice. But when a scamer gets a bunch of bad feedback they will just make another name. It would let you know who is legit when they have alot of good feedback though.

it will be the same as when we had the ratings a year or so ago. It was annonymous and people just screwed with the system so much that they became useless.
If we can figure out a way to get the rating system to work without letting the retards ruin the system then I'm all for it, but if it will be the same as our old rating system then we should avoid wasting the time and possible bandwidth.

iTrader...?
OK, my suggestion that i have for this forum, i saw while i was looking for a possible FD body. Well anyways, i saw on the http://www.v8rx7forum.com website, that there is a function called iTrader where its like an ebay feedback function, but specific to the forum. I think this would be a valuable addition to this forum as it allows us faster referencing of the person we are buying/selling from.

Dont see why not, as it will help alleviate scammers a bit. I did a search for itrader on this forum and didnt come up with anything, as this is why i suggested it.
Eh well it was worth the shot.

yeah its better. Good job guys. Now the only thing that is missing is trying to get something like itrade(i think thats what the supra guys use) so there is actual feedback under peoples user names.
But all in all I like the changes going on around here. Another cool thing to do would be to make a forced induction FS section since there are universal parts like turbos, BOV, ect...that are universal for all makes and models.

Forum Seller Feedback
hey guys
i keep seeing on the forums people who continually screw others over, or are being extremely dificult. my roomate does the supra/lexus thing on an a couple of thier forum boards they have a 'user seller feedback' in each persons SIG area. in fact after a little search i found it to be a program called 'itrader' that is added to the forums. i believe that would help alot with the good/bad seller stuff. it allows you to link to what was sold with pics as well as user ratings from the buyer like shipping description and smoothness of sale. just a little suggestion i guess. it seems to work pretty good for the supra guys especially when they are selling multi thousand dollar items as fast as they do. iv personally seen 60-90g cars last 4 hours, and 6g one off rims go in 2 hours of original post. i believe that to be close in relation to this itrader.
just my 2cents

I agree with this 100%.
It is not only the ones that are trying to rip members off but the ones that are very slow shippers and seem to just be poor sellers that are creating issues for all.
The rules already state to leave feedback but it's obvious that it is not being done.

User Ratings - iTrader
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but would it be possible to rate users? There could be a rating based on amount of knowledge in posts and there could also be a trader rating for the for sale sections. Other forums that I frequent list the rating under a person's username.

User ratings (reputations) were in place here in the past and did not work very well. Users were regularly complaining that their user accounts were being sabotaged by other users and the ratings wars ended up being an exercise in childish futility.
Since there is no method to determine the validity of the ratings the admins dumped them altogether.
The iTrader (trader rating) plugin has been requested already by the staff admins, however the owners have not decided to implement it at this time.
