GG/BG Repeat Offender Sticky
We all hate being ripped off, or seeing other members being ripped off on this site and elsewhere. This board is a tight group of people, and bad apples can really hurt the Rx7 community as a whole. We also know that there are some companies and people who have just ripped people off time and again, or have bad customer service, etc.
Why not have a sticky in the for sale sections and in the GG/BG section that compiles names of the repeat offenders that the vets on this board know of, but the new Rx7 owners that join here everyday might not be aware of? Could have links to the main threads relating to examples of their scam or poor service. Could just be a list of names of people to watch out for, and maybe why they should think twice before dealing with them.
Just a thought. I've been scammed on this board too.

I like the idea, however if someone wanted to screw up the reputation of a vendor/individual all they'd need is multiple accounts (easy) and a little time (also easy), so the votes on who's good and who's bad would need to be limited to those who can be trusted or have verified experience with the party under review.

I'm talking blatant repeat offenders...Sloshno may be one...a ton of people have had issues with his work. There are other ones, too...certain shops that don't do the right work...that one guy who sells fraudulent parts (says they're MS but they're really painted stock parts), etc.

He who smokes bitches
Noob's don't often know how to search...lol
And as for numerous threads about repeat offenders, they aren't always at the top. Instead of keeping a bunch of threads bumped, I think this would be a good idea. Having one sticky thread with brief descriptions about each bad sale from 'repeat offenders', along with links to the original BG thread.
Also you can keep previous screen names listed by the repeat offender.
EG: SLONSHO was previously under "this" screen name (forgot what it actually was).

True, but if you use the search function (and isolate the BB/BG section), you can pull up threads that talk about that individual. You'll see the number of good versus bad.
And previous screen names about a particular person...some people have more than a few. Not just a few...but possibly 20+.

Shane Racing/Ray Lochhead has recently earned a bunch of publicity.
The thing I don't like about searching the GG/BG section---names can be misspelled, spaces and puncuation changes can cause names to appear or not appear.
Hell, a lot of my 'good guy' feedback isn't under my username, it's under 'goodfellas' or 'goodfellasfd3' etc.
I think for this reason a sticky thread of repeat scammers/rip off artists is a GREAT idea.

And the Revolution...
I also think it is a good idea. Or maybe there should be someone in thier area designated that you could contact to go kick the BG's ***. ****** really think its cool to take someone's money nowadays. I started a thread to actually ban the bad guy from the for sale section for a month or 2.
