Tapatalk is an app(supports ALL mobile platforms) that makes forums extremely usable from mobile devices. Its free and just something you need to turn on. While your mobile theme IS appreciated its terrible to look at and use.

Update: Tapatalk has some serious security flaws, so we probably won't be implementing that. However there's lots of options to provide this kind of functionality, and I'm told that they're all being looked at. We'll see something along these lines soon. Stay tuned!
