I did not change my email, and it's the same one I've used for the past 5+ years I've been a member here. It's still listed in my profile. I still have instant email notification setup in my profile for PMs and subscribed threads, but about a week ago all of my email notifications stopped. Now I'm not getting anything even when I have new PMs coming in and updates in the subscribed threads.

Can anyone help me figure out the issue?

 

I looked at your settings and everything looks fine as far as I can tell in order to get notifications. Have you checked your spam/junk folder to see if the emails are going there?

If we get other people reporting the same issue, then perhaps there is an issue with the software/site...

nothing was showing in my junk folder when I went to view it the other day. I'll check again tonight.

 

To follow up, I changed to a gmail based email and everything worked fine. Unfortunately I don't want to use the gmail account because then my phone is getting notifications all day for board updates. That was my desire to use the old account.

I tried changing back to the old email which is on Juno....i know. The change notification email didn't even go out to me and I checked all of my junk mail and spam settings. Do you know if this board stopped sending to juno email addresses for some reason? Possibly grouped in as spam or something?

 

That is strange. I don't know of any issue between this site and Juno. I'll ping an admin as they can check some settings that are not available to me.

Thanks Kent, I appreciate it. I can't even change it back now because the verification email doesn't arrive and then I'm left with an account that has PMs disabled.

 

I put the settings to "no" and let it sit that way for ten minutes on your account. I just put them back to "yes," so you should get an Email and a pop up window on the forum when you get PM's. Let me know if it worked. If it didn't, IB has techers who can go into the guts of the account and see what's happening.
