Dont allow non OP replies on Car FS adds

over on Pelican parts dot com in the cars for sale section they made this change a year or two ago. It is Fantastic.

Only the OP can bump the add. Really if some one wants to point out an in accuracy they can just PM. This keeps the cars from rotating to the bottom where the owners dont constantly fan the fire.

All the useless discussion is eliminated and the it frees the mods up to focus on other things.

Check it out!

Spoke to the team at length about this and they agreed that it is not a direction we want to take. The idea does have merit and sounds like it has promise in some regards, however due to the relative high numbers or flakes and scams that we catch by open communication it was decided that it would be better to leave the threads open.

If you see someone engaging in negative behaviour or thread-crapping of any sort, please notify the team by clicking the report icon: https://www.rx7club.com/images/buttons/report.gif and we will adress the issue directly.

Thanks for your submission.
