DIY section for each class? ( Do it yourself )

I'm not sure if anyone has suggeted this before. I've been searching for some do it yourself threads but it's pretty hard to find...

I was thinking if Admin's would think that putting a
"DIY 93-95 RX7"
"DIY xx-xx RX7"
for each section of certain years of the car would be a good idea

Have a disclaimer saying that anything under the thread is not your responsability if someone screws up or what not?

Basicly a littler section for write-ups on stuff that you would be able to do yourself?

Hey I found what your looking for.

"DYI 93-95 RX7" = 3rd gen. section.

"DYI xx-xx RX7" = 1st and/or 2nd gen. section

I was thinking of a section where people who have done custom work at home with appliances store bought, could write a write up on how to do it and what not.

just something to filter out the write ups from the endless spam mess... It could be on anything from interior exterior engine....

I was on cb7tuners.com and see how they orginized their forums it makes alot easier...

i really wanted to bump this thread because i come from rx8club. we have a really nice diy section coming along (http://www.rx8club.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73) its fairly organized and easy to navigate even for the newbiest of people. i feel that there is a ton of knowledge on here but it is some what scattered and when people try to ask some times they get flamed/"SEARCH"ed. its difficult to search through the wealth of info and dead links.

an example of this is im currently searching to install a boost guage and temp guage. im finding half info threads where will there is some help the instructions arent all that clear.

im not a great car person but im really trying to learn. but some times i do a search and i have to look through tons of threads only to come out tired and not having truly solid understanding.

i feel that a subforum in each of the generations strictly for DIYs would really benefit the community. i dont really see why there wouldnt be one, but if there is a real reason there isnt one please inform me. thanks
