IB doesn't have control of the servers yet, newbs. This is still all Ryan and his crew. You idiots act like the forum never broke on a regular basis when Ryan was in control.Any excuse to bitch, I guess it's just the rx7club way.

You guys need to remember that continued attacks on IB will not be tolerated. Voicing your opinion on facts is fine, but blatant attackis toward the IB, Ryan or any of the current or future staff is against forum policy.
Obviously there are some issues with the database and they are being handled by the admins but making threads, posts and rants about the problem will do nothing to fix them or bring them to a close sooner.
If you have constructive suggestions on improvements that can be made to the forum or its moderation, please post them in the Suggestions area.

...which I have done, and the section as a whole is for the most part ignored. Seriously, go take a look at the threads, and then read the admin replies to those threads (or, lack thereof).

By no means do I defend any of the shortcomings of the forum, however we cannot allow unfounded speculation and taunting of the owners or staff to go unanswered either.

I understand that as well. I just don't understand what the issue is. The owner is sitting on a gold mine if they would only get their **** together. Other forums are 10x as large as this one and run without a glitch for months on end, and probably rake in thousands per month in advertising and subscription revenue, while keeping long-term users happy. The ownership bitches about lack of funding, yet they refuse to take up donations and actually use them for whatever improvements are necessary. They ask for suggestions, yet ignore the ones that are given, and then wonder why there are complaints among the users. It is a viscious cycle.

Well the new owners really haven't taken the reigns yet as far as I can tell so we will just have to wait and see how that turns out. Give them 6 to 8 weeks to read all those suggestions that have been left and compile some type of gameplan. I doubt your going to see any wholesale overnight changes but piece by piece things should begin to advance.
As far as the previous owner not taking advantage of those oppurtunities I suppose (and agree) that is his loss. At this point in the game however it is akin to crying over spilt milk. Like I said give the IB guys time to prove themselves and then complain, but complaining about IB before they really get out of the gate is counterproductive and childish.
(Not speaking directly about you of course, just in general)

Yes I am eager to see what comes of this..maybe it will be a good change, maybe it will be no change at all, just the money changing hands.
I made this thread not to bitch, but to make any admins who might have been online at the time aware of the issue if they were not already, because some people reported the issue and others claimed there was no problem for them.
