i've noticed, while snooping around the 3rd gen for sale sections, that there is a lot of useless posting going on. people with no intention of buying or interest in the item are trolling around telling others that their car isn't worth what their asking. its not appropriate. the posts go on and on too. i could understand if they were there until a mod came along and deleted them, but they don't seem to ever get cleaned up and the debate just keeps going. i realize the forum offers a great service by letting people post things for sale, but seriously, can't someone do something about this?

 

also a good idea would be to start another sub forum; WTB section

this will clean up alot of threads being started by people looking for parts...

 

The sheer volume of threads is more than one mod to handle.
That, and a lot of people either comment about a car (good or bad), and that adds to the number of posts.

A single mod can't police every thread/post.
That is why we have the button on the side for members to report problematic posts.

If no one reports anything, no mod knows.

 

I'd be down for a "WTB Section". Less clutter imho.

 

We've added several mods to the Classified staff....

There are no plans for a WTB section.

 

Please use the report post feature if you see offending or irrelevant posts.

 

Or personally pm me. I am pretty much on top of the main sections on a daily basis.
