I've been on quite a few forums for each of my cars and trucks over time. The forums have been a great way to get tips, DIY help, and support on projects working to keep spirits up. But, one thing that I noticed is, depending on the type of vehicle, there are many arseholes and *****-noggins that always want to bring someone down or belittle others. It seemed that my jeep forum, no matter how dumb the question, provided support and answers to posts, and had respect for others and their opinions (for the most part). But, ranked worst to best- FD owners (of which was my preferred RX type to own if I had the dollars) are amongst the most snob, smug, and arrogant car owners of all- don't know what happened, but they seem to have undies pulled up so tight around their necks, their heads get in the way of providing help or positive commentary. FC owners, unfortunately, rank 2nd in my book. Although many will try to help you or support another's build, there seems to more bragging on their own stuff and technical knowledge, thy leave many novice people like me ostracized. And, last but least, FB owners seem to be more down to earth & wholesome as a group. I was not a big fan of the FB until I started reading posts on them, and seeing some pretty awesome rides. I know not all fall into these categories, but from my experience so far, the trend seems to stick like diarrhea to an incontinent, liquid diet, geriatric. Rant rant rant- good day sir...I said good day!
