Cant subscribe to closed threads

I keep track of my favorite threads via subscriptions. However when's thread is closed you can't subscribe to it. Sucks for some of the super juicy archived threads.

Personally I would find this quite helpful, or to have a feature for Favorites or something. To those who might say "use your browser favorites" I'm using the mobile app, and use it almost exclusively now. I'm a web app developer by trade and I know very well about the limitations and strengths of browser vs app functionality

Thanks for reading

All I gotta say is that they get closed for a reason and some are flat out eliminated for pretty much the same reasons. We don't want to remember or "revisit" the ugly, I reckon. I'm not seeing that feature enabled on this website.

By juicy I mean - how to replace the switching power window electrical system in an 84-85 GSL-SE to eliminate motor drag and harness drain.
