Welcome

Manny's upholstery on Dundas St. did some work for me on a BMW, they did a very good job at a good price. I don't have his number handy but if I find it I'll post it.

Perhaps, but to be honest in most cases you need to see something.

You can call my shop and ask me what a paint job costs and I'll tell you I need to see the car. In the case of RX-7's I'm familiar with them and can give rough approximations because I know what I'm dealing with. If these people aren't familiar with an FC seat, its not unreasonable for them to want to see it before quoting a price.

Oh - Welcome to the club

Shame you feel that way. I plan on getting some more work done from Manny again in the near future. The bolster on my 3rd gen drivers seat could use some attention. I would not expect him to price me on the job over the phone since he needs to see the size, material etc. I will be removing the seat or taking the entire car there. There is no way of avoiding that. Customer service has nothing to do withit, Manny is busy and he really couldn't tell you anymore than the first person you spoke with. Sometimes customers have expectations that cannot be met. He has been in business for probably close to 30 years, I think that speaks to the quality of his service.

4 bolts, just remove the seat and take it to him. Then he can do it while you're waiting for the snow to melt. If you think the guy is busy now, wait 'til you see what spring brings in.
