Ye Old - 3 PC retailer Q...

Anyone got Canadian retailers for rebuilding, 2/3 Piece wheels.

WORK Wheels being the most common product. I could easily just contact known company's in the states but Ill be paying almost 2x with shipping on top of low exchange rate...

Need Inners and lips if available 18"

Rebuilding to simple specs... 8.5-9 going smaller in the front and larger in the back...

Need smaller inner barrels for the front to get steering angle so +38 is current offset need a 0 to a +10. Rear I just want bigger lips 2" to a 4.5 or 5. Nothing really outrageous, but someone here must be rebuilding 2-3 piece wheels as there is obvious money in it now a days... Easy thing to do, I have them apart just need to bolt and seal.

Well...

Looks like someone with some capital should invest in rebuilding... Hardest part would be capital and investments but, looks like you would be the only retailer on this side of the pond... Though I'd just suggest for branch openings on more successful US based company to migrate while the dollar is high.

If your interested in rebuilding your wheels I'm curious: just toss a quick post on this thread.

I do business next door to union rim repair on millwick in north york. they may be able to help you out. There has got to be a local shop to Edmonton though.

Just did a google search; http://wheelworksedmonton.com/

I can easily find inners and outers: just not locally or in Canada for that fact. If I need rims separated due to welding, there are local shops available.

I don't really care where in Canada I get them, I can get shipping via greyhound for relatively cheap. The issue is that No one stocks or can order them at suitable prices. In other words It would save me money sending the rims to the states and have them re-build them to specs. If there is a shop that orders and can get lips and inners shipped to me in Alberta I'd use that.
Just don't want to place an order with them to buy them from the states and charge me 400 for a commonly stocked size ea. I'm aware custom sizes arn't cheap but not for what i'm asking...

I don't know if this would help, but Kodiak Racing Wheels in Langley, BC makes custom rims. Whether they can do anything with other manufacturer's rims I don't know. Kodiak Racing Wheels - Custom lightweight race wheels for performance and racing

Seen that a while back

I've checked into retailers and custom manufactures in Canada, also No one has stock or connections for supply.

Long story short if your canadian and want to rebuild rims and need supplies you'll get it though the states, which only means less money for other car parts...

None the less maybe someone will think of partnering or getting something rolling

Closing thread. I know guys who can rebuild them but, they're doing exactly what I want for myself which is: Buying products though the states and shipping them here the exact same way I would. Then rebuilding them exactly as I have... Im just trying to find more resourceful ways to get work done.

I guess I can't close my own threads anymore?
