Wish I could be there, but out of town this weekend at the in-laws. Would love to talk suspension - trying to figure out what spring rates to go with GC coilovers I'm planning to order soon...
BTW, on an unrelated note, there will be at least one 7 represented at the World of Wheels next weekend - mine will be there as part of the Calgary Sports Car Club display. Usually Brooke Carter has his FB roadracer there too.

I chased him around Race City once in one of Dave Zubek's Cobra's. He was, unfortunately, a better driver than me. It was fun though, because I was going about as fast as I possibly could manage.

I'd love to, but the alley behind the house is a skating rink. I could get her out, but I'd never get her back in.

lol, you must live near me... front of my house gets no sunlight.... ever i think... really bad. have to leave my truck in 4x4 just to turn around in the mornin ill see if i can come out... my car is in pcs at the moment. lotsa spending, no time to put it on yet! next summer though this is the stuff i got so far.

mbc to install
a/f guage, boost guage and guage pod to install
reground kit to put in
rewire fuel pump/install new plug wires
plug twinscroll flapper hole and put ported turbo back on
exhaust gaskets everywhere
new bolts/nuts for damn near anything i touched
... yep

oh just bought rims/rubber... need some spacers up front cause on the darn 7 1/2" thing. and if im lucky, ill get some ground control coils and dtss eliminator bushings...
good news is last weekend we put lowering springs in a friends car(broke stuff). so i have some better experience for mine!

so if i was a pro... prolly 3-4 days... i just hope its running by aug.

yep car wont be there, but i upgraded my jeep for a full size tank

LOL - Been there, done that. Backed the 7 out into the alley for some reason, my garage faces north, so the ice builds up in the shade all winter. And I had the r-compound tires on it. Couldn't move an inch up the slight slope of the alley - had to throw a blanket over the front of my old Jetta to bumper-push it back in the garage. Was lucky I'm at a T in the alley, so I could get behind it with the other car for a straight shot in.

I have some spacers for my FD that I don't use. If they'll fit, you're welcome to them.

Wasn't too bad of a showing. The j-bridged repu sounded incredible! The most successful meet so far was Chev's Glenmore Park BBQ so here's hoping we see a spring repeat when the weathers good, the snow is gone, the gravel is swept, hasn't rained in 2 weeks, the car wash isn't lined up, no clouds in sight, gas is under a dollar a litre and after all that, Sean's mom pics up every pebble in the alley, cleans his windshield, protects his seat, armoralls the tires, polishes every bit of aluminum intercooler piping and lays rose pedals on the pavement so his FD can gently see pavement again.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, but I do pick my spots when it comes to driving that car. If my alley was reasonably clear though, I'd love to take her out.
