willing to pay some cash for a bit of help

Hey guys.. So i'm looking to pay someone a little cash for a bit of help hopefully this weekend if possible, or over the easter long weekend

I've got an all original 88 vert s4 non turbo... It's been sitting in my driveway for over a year now...

the last time I drove it was winter of 2012... one day out of no where I was driving it on the highway.. I got off the highway and it suddently bogged out, had a loss of power and what felt like I was driving on only 1 rotor.

after inspecting, I've come to the conclusion that i might have either flooded one of the rotor banks or i created some type of carbon build up that seized the rotor?

the motor only has 120km and its an na i'm doubtful it needs to be replaced... i'm hoping someone can come by give me a hand with it... I've purchased a set of new spark plugs to start with... looking for help to decarbon the rotors and attempt to get this puppy started again.

i'd really like to get it back on the road this spring.. please feel free to call me directly to chat about it (905)971-5553...Eric

i live in Hamilton

Pull all plugs and crank it for a while. could be flooded or you have had a coil pack go. Check all your plug wires and see if they are ok. If it was seized, it would not turn over. And did you buy that vert from a local in Hamilton?

Also, a compression test would be probably a good idea. You won't get very accurate readings, but holding the release button and checking for even bounces is a good start.

Also, you can try this. Ignition on, CAS removed from front cover but plugged in...spin it. With stethoscope (with long wire attached) listen for the front and rear primary injectors clicking.

Lastly, after trying to start engine, make sure to check plugs on each rotor to see if they're wet, to make sure you're getting fuel on both rotors.

BTW, If it bogged down and died while driving it wouldn't be flooded or due to flooding, I believe.

Hope someone can drop by and help ya.
