Talking Why are people such A-holes?

So my SE is on ebay, this dude bids on it takes it over the reserve and then emails me a rude message saying that he will Promise that he will now if it has been painted, bla, bla.

So I message him that if we wants come look he can but for now I canceled his bids, and he has 0 feedback. And that he can bid on it when he is ready to commit to his bids.

The douche calls me today and goes on and on, his wife worked for mazda and they now everything there is to know about the vehicles and that she imported everyone from japan, Bla, Bla, Bla.

Long story short I told him to keep looking. I have more important things in life than to deal with this kind of crap from a buyer. Also with his attitude I don't think he deserves the car.

I've been getting the same treatment on craigslist.

Yes, the economy is in the crapper. NO, I won't sell you my 18" Volk wheels for 200 bucks.

Sounds to me like the guy you're dealing with either doesn't know how eBay works or has no business bidding on your car. Good job, telling him to kick rocks.

I put up my White car last year.
I had replaced the engine, clutch, pilot bearing, throw out bearing.Converted it to 5 lug, with all new brakes, pads, rotors.I put on lowering springs, new tires and BBS vert wheels...I figured I could get 3200.
I was getting emails from Guys saying the Car is Worth 1500 bucks, and they would Buy it..Drive it Down to "my place" so they could look at it..???????
they didn't even want to Get off the Friggin Couch to Buy a Car!!.
After I informed a Guy that if he wanted the car, that he can take a look and see that the car is worth Way more.,he Said I had "An Attitude" and said I would not sell the car,not with THAT attitude!..It made me want to Hunt him down and ARGH!!.....
Needless to say,I didn't sell it to that guy.But I did Sell the car to a Guy That Cared enough to actually Look at it,and appreciate the Work and Time that went into making the car a Reliable Car..
so Ya,I agree. There are alot of "those People" around..It's a part of Every day life..
I think the Best Saying Was "one bad apple can spoil the Whole Bunch"..(but if you have alot of Bruised apples..make PIE!).

Yeah you definately should have. Usually people just do that to try to bring you down so they can buy the car cheap...

Wink

The guy said he knows everything and that every 1st gen came with painted on pin striping. Well mine did not. The guy was willing to pay, but he told me a story that he purchased an SE in the states, flew down and then refused to pay the guy. That and his attitude was enough for me to kick him to the curb.

Oh ya his wife worked for mazda and imported every vehicle. (signing paperwork at head office does not make you an expert).

And he calls me with his number blocked to boot.

Yeah, agree that there is alot of "those people" out there...... few years ago, my Honda Del Sol was my winter beater, (FD my summer car, of course). Then I decide to sell my Del Sol on Spring time, lots of "those ppl" e-mailed me with an attitude, and said my car was over priced and stuff, 1995 Del Sol worth $1,500, and tell me to drive to his/her house as well.......... At last I sold it to a guy that loves Del Sol alot, and hope he is enjoying the Taga Top Del Sol and the B16A VTEC engine.......... ^^

lol i typically respond to "thats too much its not worth that" with a healthy shot of

"thats FRIEND prices man, for you its actually (price plus 1000-1500)"

doesnt sell many cars but kills a heap of bullshit in a hurry
