I think I could spot a white FD with those clue's. And don't question my intelligence. I wouldn't be too happy with someone posting my cars usual location on a public forum. It's fine if you spot it driving on the road somewhere or in a mall parking lot. It's completely different when it's likely to be their home where the car can be found on a regular basis. People steal civics, they'll take an FD too.

Yeah, but the moment they try and start the FD it will blow up, so it's not going anywhere.

I've been seeing a white FD around London these days as well.

I'm not concerned with the make/model. I just can't imagine driving any sports car in the snow we've had. Mine wouldn't stand a chance.

Come to think about it, I have seen a white FD. Was driving my Vert and had to pay attention to road. Who knows maybe they just finished restoring/rebuilding it in the winter (like me)

I had the strangest dream last night that someone ripped the factory side skirts off my FD parked in a condo parking spot. Funny thing is the FD does not have factory side skirts the way it was in my dream and my FD is not parked in a condo parking.

I'm sure that white FD is parked next to many porsches, masterati's, and astin martins, amongst other corollas and civics. I'm sure it is safe where it is. A thief will find a way to steal something if they really wanted to.

True enough! There is a limit to how much snow an RX-7 can handle and 5 feet is probably above it.

My Insight seems to do alright though.

True, but it's more a matter of not making it easy for them. Thieves are more likely to go after something if they know where to get it without looking too hard.

This is the RX7 Club, not Facebook.

We are people with common interests in rotary cars. Most of us have RX7s. Some readers may just be curious. It's possible someone could be trolling for a target.

Identifying a car on some social networks or websites may be considered careless. But I think the intent of the OP was to extend a friendly handshake. A house number or license plate was not revealed.

And BTW, I don't live there...but my gf does, so don't tell my wife

I agree with orion on this one. My car was stored at my buddy's condo this winter, because i have a single garage and i really need the space to work on. Just recently my car got broke into, and this punk tried to steal my rims, but he failed because my key lug nut was at home. He went through all my compartment and left everything open. So, I decided to pull the plug on this one and drove my fd back home last night. I'm so lucky this amateur thieves didn't take my power fc and you can tell he was a repeat offender, first time my cover was open on the passenger side. I never told anyone where i stored my FD this winter. I don't care how secured any condo's in the GTA, but, please do us a favour and don't rant our cars here.

LOL looks like your insight was on monster garage or something.

I'd love to see someone come "try" and steal my 7. I guarantee without a tow, they will not go anywhere with it. Valdalism is another story.

I've had my car fucked with, and it's not an FD. And just because it isn't doesn't mean I can't open my mouth about someone else's. If you really think people are going to avoid a car just because it in a condo lot your ignorant. Mine was parked at a shop surrounded by other newer, nicer cars (BMW 5 series is one that I remember) and the hood still got keyed. No other car was touched and no one I knew had any idea where it was. As someone who has had their pride and joy screwed with I hate to think what might happen to someone else's. I understand that no harm was meant, but the point is not everyone on here is a car enthusiast. Some people use these forums to find things to steal. It's happened more than once. London isn't nearly as "sketch" as Toronto, however every city has it's thieves/vandals. This wasn't meant to be a big argument, just something for you to think about next time you spot a 7 in the city.

Hey, calm down with all this commotion, after all this is a community for all us RX7 folks. People keying cars and stealing are not just limited to nice cars and stuff. We just do this so we can connect with other RX7 members, after all this is why we have a forum for all us 7 owners.
