Welp... the snow just started falling here. Hope they don't oversalt the roads this weekend.

Ha... I thought I was the only one who drove "recon" with my DD.
Stay safe, and enjoy the cooler, denser air!

Until there is salt on the road, I continue to drive the RX-7. If there's one reason to drive a rotary powered car in the cold weather, it's the heater! Heat by the time one pulls out of the driveway.

Last drive for my FB was Wednesday afternoon to put it in storage for the winter.
I lost my underground parking spot (storage) last minute so I had to do a road trip to park it in a barn for $300 until spring. Pretty good deal.
Everything went well, but my FB doesn't like weather this cold until it warms up!!
Now the long wait for spring. In the spring she is getting full coilovers, all Techno Toy Tuning suspension components and a bunch of other parts.
110k KM Canadian car never winter driven zero rust all original

My car has been asleep for about a month now. It was getting cold and the sticky summer rubber hates anything below 12C.
I removed some of the intercooler piping to get them properly coated. They were starting to show some surface rust due to having them bare with no coating. They were slightly polished awhile back. Clearly nowhere near enough to match the chrome plating of the intake plenum.
Should be picking them up after Xmas.
In the meantime my oil coolers are in transit from Sakebomb garage.

Yes, that is a sweet-looking FB.
Neo, those oil coolers from Sakebomb look great. I've been saving up for their headlight kit.

Yep, funny enough, got their headlight kit last year right around this time. You won't regret it. Great mod to do. Especially if you do a lot of driving at night.
The stock single oil cooler has taken a beating over the years. I've been trying to get these sakebomb oil coolers for the past few years now. Thankfully I was able to get them this year.
Maybe next year I'll be able to get the BBK's.

I fired up the pig on Christmas Eve. It started right up with no issues and filled the house with smoke. I then tried to start the Cougar and nothing just fouled the plugs. Race gas, high compression, huge overlap and the tune don't like to fire under 15 degrees C. Oh well, wait until spring as well.
