Where do you buy your fuel filters?

I can't find any Canadian online stores that carry the FD fuel filter. Only place I can find one in Canada is NAPA which is almost $60.
American online stores offer it for $20 + $30shipping, which isn't really any better.
Anyone know a better option?

OEM would be best, If the NAPA filter is made by WIX then it would be just as good if not better then OEM.
The other option would be to do your own set-up, buy a aftermarket fuel filter with a cleanable stainless steel mesh filter and some 3/8 fuel hose and clamps, this would also eliminate the hard to replace location of the OEM filter....a little more work for the install but a five minute job cleaning it once a year.

The Napa fuel filter is a premium filter made by Wix, you can't go wrong with it. Napa part #3309. $56.20 Canadian is retail price. Can you tell I work at Napa lol

I'd be all over that, but $117 shipping seems a tad high

If my memory serves me right. It is the same filter as you would find in an M1 miata. There might be a price difference.

The Miata filter has a smaller over all size, but the fuel lines are the same size as the Rx7. They look identical tho. Miata Napa part # 3289 wix, $63.70 retail. There is a non-premium filter through Napa's import line part# 3621314 $27.60 retail.

Email Cam (sales@pettitracing.com) and ask for a price shipped USPS. Don't remenber what I paid as I ordered a few things at one time, but that seems a bit high to me as well.

What's wrong with getting it from NAPA?

Which reminds me, I think the lsat time I did a fuel filter was about 3-4yrs ago. I think she might be due for a change.

I have a spare fuel sock for the tank mounted fuel pump, 1988 vert, if I need a new fuel pump what are my options as I understand the OEM fuel pumps are hard to obtain.
