What we have been doing since Nov 2012

I know this isn't an RX7, but this is pretty much our finished product. The last piece was the front air dam/splitter built by Fourway Auto Body. Owner there is a fellow competitor and a trus craftsman! It took a long time but its now safe and ready to go! Photo's by Gumball Photography!

Just wait. Someday, when my dorito motor fails, I will be swapping out the keg for either an (cough, cough) LSx motor or a Ford Small Block. You can now build a 454 c.i. Ford small block that builds over 700 hp and 800 lb ft of torque or you can push the easy button and plant the LSx motor in there for a reliable 400+ hp.

In racing HP feels cool, but usually flexibility and torque, while still making decent power, wins the day.

I totally get why Al is excited about racing this car as it will be so much easier to drive and race than his RX7 was and more than likely more reliable.

Good luck this year Al and the car looks great. Best looking splitter setup I have ever seen on one of those chassis.

Eric

Thanks Eric! Mike at FourWay did an overthetop job on the air dam, all done by hand and eye, a metal brake and talent!
