I had posted earlier that I have blown a turbo which I have purchased from StreetPower. I wrote some harsh words about StreetPower saying that they sell junk and this was wrong. I posted on the forum before I contacted Shawn to let him know about my situation.
When I did get in contact with Shawn he told me to come by , so that we can deal with the issue(but asked to hurry as he had a track day). When I showed up his shop parking lot was consumed by rotary beasts waiting to go to the track.While his shop hid a 20B monster in the corner. Shawn greeted me ,and took the broken turbo for a closer inspection. (The compressor side broke a few teeth).
We talked for a bit about my setup, and how I need to change some things around. Then Shawn left and came back with a stock turbo, and said here you go. Just like that I went from being a Di*K to being a Jac*kA$$, as he just gave me a free turbo. I was speechless seeing as I started a nasty thread ,and Shawn was the bigger man, and still helped me out.

STREETPOWER is also taking my mishap a step further. Shawn took my hybrid turbo,and told me that he will get me a shop quote on the rebuild.

I started this thread to apologize to Shawn for the previous thread.. and to thank him for going above and beyond for his customer.

 

Sean has helped me out many times before as well, without blinking an eye.
I was supposed to be there that night as well, he gets together quite often to go to the track. Hopefully I will see you and others at Streetpower's customer appreciation BBQ/Dyno day in July.

 

Were is Shawn located ??? I need some help with my FB road race car that has a TII conversion going into it.

It is nice to see to men rise beyond the normal way of things. Congrats both of you, It is unfortunate it took "tragedy" to accomplish it.

 

I have met Shawn a few times and he has always been cool with me.
