What Do You Think Of This?, My FB with the front end of an FC!

Those are S4 front fenders and a S4 nose cone, the FC is actually 3in wider than the FB so the nose sort of bubbles out. The fenders don't fit perfect, but the are very close. The FB headlights and hood don't quite fit, so I'm getting a custom headlight kit made up and carbon fibre hood to fit.
Has anyone ever done this before or am I the first idiot to try lol!!

Yes, I would love to have the car painted the same colour as the nose cone, but as my sig say's "Too many projects, not enough time or money!" so don't expect to see this at any meets anytime soon.

No, I just did this real quick, just to see what it would look like. It will probably sit in the corner and never get finished

Yeah, why would you want to make your FB look more like a Dodge Shadow?

Unhappy

Much rather the stock FB nose. The FC nose shortens the look of the whole car.

Gotta say I don't like it.

I prefer the smooth curves of the FB to the lines of the FC personally...

I personally love that one picture on rotorhead.ca with both the front and rear ends of an RX-8 on an FB body - personallu I think that would look awesome.

It'd be interested it see what your car looks like after paint - it always looks better after paint lol

I'll do some more work on it, make it fit better, then I'll try getting some better pics.

i don't know man.....i agree with the front heavy comment. i think it will look just wrong...of course then again i don't like the second gen nose to begin with. seems to me, you'd have to beef up the rear end somehow to make it look right.
