What do you guys think?

Hey guys, just getting a few opinions here.

You've all seen the KS-Auto Burnout kit:

http://www.ks-auto.com/turning/democar/kd1_2/photo.html

and hopefully everyone has seen the RE Amemiya Wide body kit:

http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages/...0,0,0&format=0

Just wanted your guys' opinion on these two bodykits. I know they are of two different extremes, but just trying to get some sort of input on the whole thing.

Ideas and input are welcome, so get on with it.

no contest personally as far as looks go. The burnout kit is dead sexy. I would just be sure of what you want to use the car for though before you spend megadollars on a full kit. If you put something like that on, i would assume it's fairly unlikely that you would ever want to track the car, since it would just take 1 trip into the no-talent zone to do serious damaga to an expensive kit.

If you're building a show car or just want a really smokin looking fd for a weekend driver, then i'd go for the burnout kit over the amimeya one any day.

i would just put a front lip on the car and get it some CCW rims and call it a day.

Amen.... The FD is perfect from the factory IMO.

If I had to spend $2k though, I think a set of BBK behind the stock body lines would look 10X better than either kits above.

Im going to throw my vote in with the burnout kit as well.

------
... personally im looking into a c-west kit because they were one of the few who wind tunnel tested their kits and i was also impressed with them posting the test numbers.
http://www.c-westusa.com/labs/fudo1_rx7spec.asp
... i wouldnt get the hood (im planning a v-mount setup so the venting isnt the best on that c-west kit) and id go for a different wing ...apr performance has one that has a lot of adjustability

I love the race look of the amemiya, but the burnout is just elegant. it depends on what you want to do with the car, and your taste. We don't have to drive it every day, you do. But if I had to choose, Burnout.
