Hey guys,

Ive heard that the downpipe for the US spec (LHD) FDs wont fit my RHD. this is supposedly becuase the stearing rack gets in the way of one of the bends...
could anyone verify this, and does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Jap DP?

That is true. You might have to eather talk to FDnewbie on this site to get one, or check out shops like www.rhdjapan.com for parts. There is one US downpipe that has the right bend but I can't remember what company that was.

 

I think its HKS? I haven't installed one yet but I've had lots of RHD FD owners asking me which one fits as well.

 

HKS will fit....it was made for the RHD FD but fits our cars fine, a pipe made in North America will not fit a RHD car.
