Just an update for people who missed the race.

Friday practice
Went ok but have the wrong compound of pads on it. was too soft for the track.

Saturday Qualifying
Went with a different pad but the brake rotors were getting way to hot around 550f and crack both front rotors in 5 laps. 6th place out of 50cars

Race 1
Made some better ducking to the brakes. Finshed 3rd in class

Sundays race
The rain was off and on all day and we expected it to rain in the middle of our race so we went with the rain tires and rain setup.
on the first lap got bumped and turned around and fell back to 8th. So we made our way back up the field in rain setup.
Finshed 3rd in class and the rain only started when our race finshed.

I have an in car camera from the whole weekend and i will try and get it up.

Good stuff man!! Wish I could have been there. Sounds like another exciting race. Is the front end still in one piece?

Give Kurt a high five for me!!

Talking I Don't Want to Appear More Stupid Than I Am

How can I see this file? It was saved on my computor as a zipped file. I have unzipped it and I still can't find a viewer that works. You computor savvy guys, what do I do?

It comes in as a VSP file and nothing works.

Thumbs up Great Video

Looks good. Kurt just needs a bit more low end torque to help him make the moves to pass people on a street course. He sets himself up very well, but if he gets balked in the corner he has to wait until the next time he gets the momentum up. Very familiar issue with me.

What really scard me was how fast the Civic, the Golf and the BMW are as they are in my class and just as fast in a straight line as 3 rotor. YIIIKkES!!!!!!!!

If we had a proper trany and gear ratios it would be alot different but u might have the same problem. The stock trany kills us rx7 Na guys

Yep, same issue as me. I need a 5 speed box with fifth 1:1 and 1st around 2.5:1 or a turbo motor, LOL.

Torque rules unless you are an NA Civic.

Loved the in-car from the golf. It really explained a ton.

Well us rx-7 turbo guys kill stock trannys. We were at Calabogie July 2nd and stripped every tooth off of 3rd gear. We'll be back at Calabogie at the end of the month with your 4.44 diff and will see how things go. See you then.

I saw that bump on the big screen, that's annoying. Also lots of time under yellow flag on sunday's race too.
