The guy had gave me his custom plates with the car i just bought, can i just transfer them to my name as long as i have the plate section of the ownership. or how does that work

I dunno if your allowed to transfer a dude came to my shop and was complain about not being able to transfer his custom plates. Go the the Ministry and see what they say...

 

not that the plates were custom, but i had a dealership transfer plates from my mother's name to mine due their screw up, so i don't see why you couldn't do it.
