Thought I'd Post This Beauty

Local guys 1979 RX7. Saw it at a show today and talked to him crazy how clean and original it is! 1979 with 68000 kms original 12A that was beaten on when he first bought it new! Original owner he owned the first one in town and still has it just changed the rims and that's it!

Wow! Seeing that I'd have a very hard time not making cash offers. Assuming there was a bank machine near by...

Yeah he seemed pretty intent on keeping it in the family he gave it to his son who didn't want it... I laughed and said I would have taken it! He said he just beat on it for the first few years he owned it which surprised me because it still had the original motor. I wish I had taken more pictures.

I'm pretty sure this is the right way to look after an NA rotary - I've had mine 15 years now, fed it a steady diet of full throttle/8500+ rpm shifts - and I've replaced the OE clutch once, and the front brake pads, and that's about it except for suspension and exhaust mods. And tires. A lot of tires.
